Publish on NERD (Peer Review Publications)
You can publish your work in the National Databank. You can also archive your works that have been published elsewhere in the National Databank for perpetual curation as a national resource.
If you already have a NERD credential, please log in and submit your work or paper.
You are encouraged to also send an email to publish@niap.ned.gov.ng indicating that you have submitted a new draft publication for peer review and publishing. Include your name and contact telephone numbers, correspondence email addresses and organisational affiliation in the email.
This publication and review process is part of the Nigeria Indexes of Academic Publication (NIAP) scheme. To support the publication processes of NIAP, we require that a draft publication is accompanied by the names, email addresses, phone numbers, and specialisation of at least 3 senior academics who are subject matter experts in the field or related subject area. These experts will not review your work. Their nomination will, however, enable the National Databank system to assign them for the anonymous review of other people’s works (as reviewers) while those nominated by others review your work.
If you do not already have a NERD access credential, CLICK HERE to register.
The lead author shall receive correspondence from NIAP on the progress of the publication process.
Please note that authors must ensure that those recommended as reviewers possess the expertise as leaders in the various fields. NIAP reserves the right to decide who the reviewers shall be and is not obligated to select those recommended by the authors. The recommendations are strictly required to build a quality national database of subject matter experts in the various fields for the benefit of Nigeria.
